The conference is organised by the English Language and Linguistics Department’s PG Tips, an inclusive group of PG students run by PG students for PG students.

PG Tips hosts weekly sessions for postgraduate students from the department, the university, and further afield. The sessions range from student presentations on their research, skills workshops, and panel discussions.

Coordinator & Communications

Samantha coordinates the conference programme and keeps everyone in touch and up to date with BELP Conference and PG Tips activities. Samantha is a 2nd year PhD researcher studying figurative creativity in advertising.

Volunteers
We are looking for a team of enthusiastic postgraduates who want to get involved in the conference organisation and abstract reviewing process. Additional training required for the roles will be given in a series of PG Tips sessions on reviewing papers, designing and giving virtual presentations, and more. Volunteers will be supported by the Organising Committee.
